Was expecting to trade any combination of Danny, 'Tisse, #23 for either Eric Gordon or Josh Hart
Can't complain about Melton - 24 years old, versatile on a cheap contract
Curious to see what moves are coming next.....
Yeah. Ty Ty Washington or Nembhard at point guard coulda been a nice pick. But the trade for Melton might actually be better. He’s already a little seasoned. And he’s improving every year.
Hate to see Danny Green go but after yet another knee injury his knees might be shot.
Everything I've been reading/hearing about today - I've been salivating (can't stop watching his Youtube clips)
Apparently he's a two way player and was the Grizz's 6th man last year. Very versatile and can play the 1 and the 2 -
But what I love from what I'm reading/hearing - he has a ton of dog in him and is an elite defender - very tough player - and he's still young on a cheap contract. Love the trade. Can't wait to see what Morey has in store next....
But isn't this kind of.......tampering? I would be furious and ticked off if I was in Nets management/ownership. One of the top players in our league, putting arguably the best player in the game, who plays on our team in an opposing team's jersey and placing it on social media? If Steph Curry did this to Joel Embiid our fans would be going nuts right now.
Wonder how his teammates feel who have his back on the court - many of whom would likely gone in a trade involving multiple teams
It's kind of like being married and being overly blunt with your wife you're not happy and looking for a new wife to move in
If you want to play with KD - request out behind closed doors ask to be traded to / go to Brooklyn - don't recruit him here uprooting our lives in the process

Per NBA Insider Marc Stein - '“Numerous rival teams, meanwhile, say with even more conviction now than they did last week when I first it reported on Wednesday - that they expect P.J. Tucker to land in Philadelphia on a three-year, $30 million deal in free agency.”
Per Sixers Insider Harrison Grimm - 'The Sixers need to shed $11 million+ to gain access to the full MLE. If Harden opts in, which all signs point to, you’re looking at a Thybulle/Korkmaz/Milton trade or Tobias Harris being moved.'
