It kind of seems like Johnny Depp is the one who’s unable to take ownership. Studio insiders have repeatedly said that his downfall was the result of his own behavior (his difficulty to work with, his addiction problems, that Rolling Stone interview) and fading star power, but he and Adam Waldman insist that it’s all Amber Heard’s fault.

She probably suffers from narcissistic personality disorder, where everything is everybody else's fault. They can't except that they might be wrong. Though there is a spectrum with every mental disorder and Amber Heard might have some other type of personality disorder, not necessarily NPD. Anyone who paid attention at the time would’ve known that his career was already in the toilet before December 2018, which was when the op-ed was published. That Rolling Stone interview that Depp did back in July 2018 was such a disaster that there were articles that declared it to be career suicide for him.

Johnny Depp assaulted in extra many years ago, is current being sued for assaulting a crewmember, and I think is also being sued by a woman who says he had his bodyguards assault her at a concert. In addition, we now know that the paid for an apartment for his underage daughter to live with her grown-ass boyfriend. Wonderful guy.

I usually don't. I just like to put the information out there and people can come to their own conclusions. In this case I admit I jumped the gun, because I haven't payed close enough attention to the case. With someone like Trump, I feel very confident in my speculation that he has Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

Johnny Depp is a person with a known history of aggressive behavior and substance abuse, and two of his exes have said that he was very jealous and possessive. He even referred to his previous girlfriend as an “extortionist c*nt.” I’m not sure why the idea that he may not have been a great husband is so difficult to believe. It’s worth noting that people like O.J. Simpson and Brian Laundrie have also claimed that they were the victims in their relationships, and Gabby Petito was brushed off as a hysterical harpy who got arrested for abusing her boyfriend, until she was found dead.

If I watched the actual trial maybe I would agree. I am not comfortable with anyone painting her as the devil incarnate either. I think this trial and their relationship has gotten the biggest overreaction ever. The fact that he has never been accused of physically abusing anyone in the past doesn't mean he didn't hit Heard, I agree. It is going to be taken into account though when people come to a conclusion. If it was Sean Penn vs. Amber Heard, I am quite sure that people wouldn't have come to the same conclusion. Harvey Weinstein had a bunch of different women come forward and accuse him of sexual assault from very far back. That is the difference. With something like this stuff, we can't really know. Unless there was video of the actual abuse. I have no doubt that Depp hit her on occasion and I have no doubt that she also hit him. I have heard that it was sort of a mutually abusive relationship.
