I have an Instagram account to browse, but I don't post anything myself. I don't even really leave comments. Today, I got an alert that someone had sent me a message. The message is just a series of pictures of a last will and testament. The person who sent the message is also named on the last page of the will as one of the inheritors. Three people are named, all with the same last name as the person who made the will, so I'm guessing it's a father leaving his estate to his kids. I don't know these people. My Instagram handle is kind of unique, so it's hard to believe they meant to send it to someone with a similar name and sent it to me on accident. Very weird.
Edit: Since Facebook and Instagram are connected now, I could see the person's Facebook page. They don't have much activity, just a few photos of what I'm assuming are their family members posted over the past few years.

If you give your bank details perhaps you’ll get some of the money.

Sounds like someone just inherited a big haunted mansion. But you have to spend one night there before it’s legally yours.

Be careful. It could be some sort of phishing scam.

That is a weird one!
I had a random girl desperately wanting to be my friend in broken English on my Instagram late last year. Kept messaging me a few times. I ignored her, and she stopped doing it. Her account isn't active much anymore. I thought I had a stalker there for a little while.

Be careful. It could be some sort of phishing scam. So far, no further communication. Just those photos. Weird.

Weird coincidence. I was just thinking about this couple days ago and found that I still have the images downloaded on my phone. I searched through my Instagram messages, but couldn't find the original message there anymore.
