No. Catman avoids both Red Bull and coffee. And he finds the Red Bull ads annoying.

Lol, such a good one. That was me yesterday because I had a bottled black unsweetened Cold Brew to balance out the sweetness of my fresh-made iced mocha. 😳 I was ultra-focused.

I never seem to get a buzz from caffeine. Unless I’m in a constant state of buzz.

Last year I went through a LOT of energy shots, never again!, but towards the later half of that time, I'd get buzzed and be almost delirious even 3 days off of them. Anybody who's ever had that sensation you're so tired that you're just laughing because everything sounds funny and everything sounds like a good idea, that was me, and if it didn't make my heart start beating crazy even 3 days later, I'd probably still be drinking them. They tasted horrible, but for a while they made me feel NORMAL, as in before I was exhausted every single day. There was a long period after I stopped drinking them that I missed them, not how they made me feel but I liked the rush I'd get drinking one at night and then spend an hour or so writing, it sounds bad but I think it helped my creative process for a while.

Actually Catman eschews hot drinks.

I'm honored! The honor's all mine! It was an easy call. What better place to post than in reply to probably the kindest person to come out of IMDb boards, ever? No better place. 😊 Cold brew is made when coarse coffee grounds are steeped in cold or cool water for something like 10-12 hours or it might be more like 12-24 hours. I suppose it lends to lots of differences from richness and flavor to acidity/pH, although I'm not exactly sure. It's served cold like iced coffee so you don't have to chill hot coffee to get cold. I like it!

I never seem to get a buzz from caffeine. I rarely drink coffee, but me neither. When I do drink it, I never feel any different. I have never drank Red Bull but I have tried some other energy drinks and haven’t felt any different either.

Huh. At first I assumed that was some sort of lemur, and being a nerd, I decided to look it up. It appears that it's probably not a lemur, but a tarsier. Interesting.
I have a bad reaction to both caffeine and alcohol, so I avoid both. Caffeine can make my heart race, and then paradoxically, it can make me dizzy and tired. Alcohol also gives me paradoxical symptoms, like making me feel tense and sick, and giving me an extreme sense of malaise within seconds. I can handle a can of soda, but I always get decaf coffee and tea, and no alcohol ever.
