You know one interesting thing about this movie. It actually wasn’t that big of a hit when it came out, no where close to one of the top grossing films of the year. Some people say that was because Star Wars was not really in the public conversation at the time

Between this movie and Ferris Bueller's Day Off, I knew ahead of time when I saw a certain sci-fi horror classic for the first time about the "special".
