For me it varies. Most of the time now its the damn Internet Junk Advertising, then the Food Then Monty Python and Vikings. You have to think Singing Vikings when thinking of that Python sketch. I was a Python fan before being a Python fan was cool. I recall in the early days, I discovered them in the early to mid 1970s when my local PBS station showed the Flying Circus episodes from the late 60s. At the time I didn't realize they were a couple of years old I was a kid. The show was a cult favorite show so you hardly met anybody else who was a fan or admitted being a fan. In the 1970s being a fan of a cult show wasn't "cool". IN 1975 when The Holy Grail came out some of the fans started coming out. I recall when I saw the film in the theatre while waiting for the show to start some guy was strutting up and down the aisle shouting "Albatross! Fresh on a stick! Albatross". When you would mention Python or quote lines from the Holy Grail people wouldn't know what you were talking about and look at you like you were a lunatic. Then in after The Life of Brian came out in 1979 being a Python fan started becoming cool. Then people started getting your Python jokes and quotes. By around 1983 and The Meaning of Life quoting Life of Brian and even The Holy Grail started getting old and boring. The life of being a fan was dying. Now days I don't care that much one way or the other. Sometimes I still laugh when someone quotes Python, other times I just sort of groan and think with very little enthusiasm "Oh great someone who just discovered Monty Pyhton"
