I find it to be pretty puzzling how the Paramount Network's "Yellowstone", in the four years it's been on the air, has only received one Emmy nomination and only for the category of, Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Contemporary Program (One Hour or More).
The series is pretty well-liked by television critics and general TV viewers, it trends pretty big on social media when a new episode airs, and it's proved popular enough to warrant spin-offs, one of which already has had one season out ("1883"). The "Yellowstone" universe even has its share of high-profile fans, from the likes of former box-office titan and former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger, Oscar winners Octavia Spencer and Billy Bob Thornton, Rita Wilson and her husband Tom Hanks - both of whom were happy to cameo for an episode of its spin-off series (Same with Thornton).
By all accounts, this series sounds like it could and should be a serious Emmy wagon, but it has only managed to receive one nomination since it began to air.
Could the issue be related to the network it airs on? Same with streaming platforms? Maybe if it were an HBO or FX or AMC series maybe its chances would be better? What say you?

Not sure... My Parents love the show and it's sequel. I've never watched a full episode. But it seems decent enough.
