I have not gotten it.
I know 2 people personally who got it twice - My sister and a friend. But I have zero physical contact with either one of them since I live in another time zone.
IDK what symptoms my sister got since she never went into details. My friend couldn't taste or smell for 5 months.
I've seen some crazy people act like it's not there. Saw a lady standing outside a CVS with a sign that said "Covid is not real. God is. Jehovid:19. Say No to the vaccine"
In Summer 2020, A woman refusing to wear a mask at a grocery store (when the store was enforcing it) saying "If God wants me to get Covid, then I'll get covid. It's not my place to question his judgement by wearing a mask"

I have not contracted it (yet). Vaccinated three times. My sister and my older brother had mild cases. My younger brother, his wife and his two children all had it, also mild cases. A cousin (mid fifties, good shape, no health issues) had a serious case, was in the ICU twice, but luckily survived - although he was left with some long COVID symptoms, such as a difficult concentrating for something as simple as reading a book - and he used to be the most avid reader I knew.
I don't think anyone I know personally died from it.

Sti haven't gotten it, and neither have my parents. I've had three shots (third one was in December), and they've had four shots each. Worried because my dad is a Trumper who only got his shots because my mom was on his ass about it. Says he's not getting any more shots no matter what anyone says, and we know for a fact that he doesn't wear a mask in stores and stuff. Neither of my parents is in good health, and if he gets it, he'll 100% give it to my mom. If we try to talk to him about it, it always goes the same: He says it's just like the flu. We tell him that it's kind a million Americans, and therefore is much more dangerous than the flu. Be says he understands now, and will where his masks because he doesn't want to get my mom sick. We end up hearing later from people who've see him around town that he's not wearing a mask. Rinse. Repeat.
It doesn't help that my Trumper brother keeps encouraging him to ignore covid precautions.

We all those "covid isn't real" people future winners of the Herman Caine Award. I've seen worse. I've seen people acknowledge Covid's existence and still be a dumb ass. Also in 2020, when the stores were forcing people to wear masks, I saw a woman at the grocery store refusing to wear a mask. When she was asked to leave, she said "Excuse you? I am incapable of getting covid. Covid is God's curse for sin. I am a very good Christian and I don't commit any sin. You are clearly out of your mind if you think God would curse me with covid."
