I go to a gasoline station. And some guy is at the counter speaking with the worker about something.
Then at one point she says something like, ' well I don't know, cuz I see so many faces when working here.'
Then, I go to purchase my gasoline you see... and I say, ' I wasn't sure if I have to come in to pay for it, or if I can pay for it ouside. So I figured I'd just come in to pay for it.' So i said something stupid. But anyway:
Then she says ' You Can pay for it outside if you want, but we encourage people to come in and pay for it... because then I can see more faces.' And she kinda laughed when she said the last two words of that. She's, like 32 years old.
But, she said the last two words, like it was funny in some way.

Some gas stations want people to pay for their fuel inside the store because you're more likely to make an impulse purchase. Makes sense, I suppose. If you're standing in line anyway, then why not grab something cold to drink, and maybe a candy bar or chips? I'm sure many people do.
