Lots of reasons. 1 common reason is they want more resources (e.g. land, oil, a shipping port, other spoils of war, etc.). In medieval England, they went to war to get the throne. In the Civil War, the South went to war because they felt their way of life was being threatened by the North.
So why were the Skrull and Kree fighting and which side is Earth supporting?
The real reason is because humanity is designed to kill each other. We just like to make up excuses for it. We've been killing each other since the beginning and we will kill each other until the world ends. |

Probably over earth resources? They could also have a ancient blood feud. As for Earth taking a side? We shouldn't. Both races are assholes. What Earth resources are they fighting for? Do they not have those same resources on their own worlds? What did both races do that makes them assholes? And if Earth isn't taking a side, then why the fuck should we care about the Skrull-Kree war? |

Well I don't work for marvel and have no clue what the plot for Captain Marvel is going to be, but if the skrull-Kree war does come to earth, it's not exactly a lovely thing to be caught up in. The only REAL side to take is the one that would benefit us. |
