Yes. I've seen it so many times on vhs that the tape wore out. It's so different from the 1939 (it's not quite a sequel but I always saw it as one) which sort of adds to its quality. It's more or less a horror movie at times

It's more or less a horror movie at times I'm reading The End of Oz (it's the last installment of the Dorothy Must Die series which I highly recommend if you haven't read it) and one of the characters mentions Return to Oz and how it was like letting a kid watch A Clockwork Orange.  The Wheelers show up in that book, but they're far more frightening, violent and stinky.
