I've been listening to that horseshit of yours for months, and you can take that crap and blow it out your ass. And for good measure, sit on THIS.

Never before has the beauty of the sexual act been so crassly exploited!

“One of the most frequent problems encountered during the sexual act is that of premature ejaculation." "Should premature ejaculation occur, the Joy of Sex album comes equipped with BIG JIM SLADE."

More offensive than "Mandingo.” More shocking than "Behind the Green Door.” More erotic than "Deep Throat.” You will cream in your jeans when you see "Catholic High School Girls in Trouble.” This one is great, except for the last picture. Too modern and the Playboy vibe is overwhelming. I applaud your effort with the others, though. Well done.

No can do, Mr. Lynde. I enjoy freely sharing my thoughts. Maybe alpha128 can help get you started. There's a long history of occasional commentary within these threads, e.g., this post or that post. I don't mind as long as it doesn't overwhelm the thread. The_Pride_of_Krakow , I welcome you to the board. Here's how it works: 1. Check this alphabetical list to see if your favorite movie is available. (Or feel free to PM me.) 2. If no previous quote thread exists, start a new thread where the first post includes a memorable quote from your movie 3. Complete the post by adding a picture to illustrate your quote 4. Or if there is an existing quote thread for your title, you can you use the link in the alphabetical list, or in this master list to find it (Ctrl+F in your browser works quite well). Then add your quote/picture combination to the existing thread. 5. Watch hilarity ensue! You've already seen numerous examples in this thread, and while most of the images are from Star Trek, that is not a requirement. The only requirement is to have fun. We're always looking for new posters and thread creators. I hope you will join us on the Movie Quotes board. Thank you.

We could all starting pointing out which posts we think stink. That’ll kill the board and this is the only place I missed during my exile.

We should not be judged here, that’s my problem. We could all starting pointing out which posts we think stink. That’ll kill the board and this is the only place I missed during my exile. I don't want negativity on this board either. But this is a public forum - judgment is inevitable. Every time one of your posts gets a "like", it's because someone judged it worthy. Every fifty threads I quote in the sticky thread the most popular posts for that time period - the ones judged by the user community as the best. As for The_Pride_of_Krakow , I don't see how we can view his first post on this board, "This thread is fucking hilarious", as anything other than overwhelmingly positive. And I read his critique of your post as mostly positive, basically saying he really liked three out of the four pictures you used. However, since it was your post that was singled out for criticism, no matter how mild, I can see why you might feel uncomfortable and delete your post. But I doubt he intended for you to react that way.

We cannot get away from it. There are no wrong pictures here. No ratings. I didn’t fail the movie quote. No one does that.

However, I probably won't be participating in the game. I'm glad I came upon this particular thread, though. The Kentucky Fried Movie is one of my favorite films. I do enjoy a bit of Star Trek, as well. The last thing I ever expected to stumble upon is a mash-up of the two. Absolutely hysterical. It takes a good and clever effort to earn my appreciation, comedy-wise, these days. I suppose I'm harder to impress the older I get.

But I doubt he intended for you to react that way. Alpha, Thank you for giving me the benefit of the doubt. At no point was it my intent to make Paul feel uncomfortable. I went out of my way to compliment his work because he did a great job! I offered up some constructive criticism and there's nothing wrong with that. I was civil about it and that's what counts. We must always consider intent and context along with the words we choose to use. He was not insulted or degraded. I didn't even use any harsh or inappropriate words. You're also correct about my initial post. Nothing remotely negative within that comment. I have liked damn near every post within this thread! I didn't single Paul out to make him feel bad or anything. I don't even know the guy! I perused the thread and just decided to leave a response. It's not as if I planned my day around this. It was random. I do like leaving feedback and my intent was to help with some criticism. I suppose I thought that his last picture felt a bit out of place for the vibe of this thread, but so what. This is not a crime (not saying you or Paul thought it was or have described it as such). Life is full of judgments and criticisms. It's not going to help people grow and become stronger if we want life to be nothing but "safe spaces".

Yes, we do have clever and creative quote thread contributors. But we can always use more, and I hope you'll reconsider your participation. There are different levels of participation and some take very little time. In order of time commitment there's: - Reading and liking
- Posting in a thread created by another user
- Creating your own thread
So I hope you can find the time to visit us again soon.

Pride, can you delete your post you’re referring to. I’ve deleted my post. Thanks. No hard feelings, I just feel uncomfortable about it. No, sir. I will not do this. I enjoyed your post very much and I plan to leave it up for others to see. I feel it's best for it to remain so others can see the work that you did. I wish you had not deleted yours. I'm just not big on censorship when the intent is not malicious. There's too much of a gestapo on social media platforms these days. Hopefully, you will not lose your motivation to make further posts in this thread. I empathize with you over your sickness. I have spent the last two to three weeks dealing with sinus infections. Hopefully, you are on the road to recovery soon. Eat well, drink lots of water, keep yourself clean, do your laundry, disinfect your home, take any necessary medications, and try to get plenty of rest. Cheers.
