But, what is the point of being Christ's Disciple, as opposed to any other, if He Is not Who Claimed to Be? Who His Apostles claimed Him to Be? Well firstly I do not believe he claimed that, and secondly as I am saying, you are getting it. The various prophets are all speaking the same thing, they simply do it in a different cultural lens. Of course there is a caveat as to who I accept as a prophet, for example I am not convinced by Joseph Smith Not only did Our Lord Jesus Claim it, but, so Did Our Heavenly Father. The Gospels record 3 incidences where He Speaks with Jesus, and in 2 of those incidences, He Says that Jesus Is His Son (His Baptism & His Transfiguration). Personally, if I believed that Jesus Was indeed a Prophet or Holy Person, but, not divine, I would probably choose a religion that incorporated the other great religious figures too, such as the afore-mentioned Baha'i faith or Cao Dai, etc. For the record, I don't believe Joseph Smith either.

Perhaps the point is to use the tools God gave you, not what any religion teaches you. After all, what is religion if it's not merely people telling other people what they've learned from other people? I believe Jesus told us to knock that shit off.

How do you know the gospels recorded accurately, they were written some time after the events. EDIT: Your choice of religion is up to you, it does not change my interpretation.

What Our Lord Condemned was hypocrisy. He Said He Came to Fulfil the Law; not abolish it. Then after His Resurrection, He Instructed His Apostles to go out into the world and Baptize people from all nations, which was what they did.

My god is our sun, Sol, and I can scientifically prove he is more powerful than the Son. Stand naked in front of my god and Sol will burn you. Keep doing it and he will give you skin cancer. Jesus is impotent without human intervention. Sol gives us life. If Sol hides, we eventually die. If Jesus hides ... 2000 years go by and nothing happens.

The Old Testament law of Moses that the Jews were observing.

Using the bible to prove the bible. Im sorry, but I just dont buy that Jesus is not human, and as I said if he is not human his sacrifice is an alien dying for no reason.

No, using the Bible to prove the Divinity Of Christ, because the Bible is our main source of information on Him. You can believe whatever it is you like. My point is, why follow Him as opposed to Confucius or Zarathustra, or perhaps even Guru Nanak Dev?

Cultural affinity, the teachings of western religion speak to me because they speak my cultural language.

Going by that argument, then you yourself source the Holy Bible, because it is the Sacred Scripture of western religion & your particular cultural language.
