The first episode wasn't bad. We'll have to see how things go with future episodes but so far it seems fine.
I liked that they finally gave an answer to whether or not Steve Rogers was a virgin, hopefully now the internet will shut up about it!

That women’s restroom scene was worse than expected. The four ladies say ‘you do not need him. Or her. Or them’.
I’m not offended by the pro-lgbt sentiment but by the artificial nature of the dialogue. Cringe wokeness. And if this is the best scene we’re in trouble. I’m only seven minutes in and 🫣

And then I turned it off after the belching scene. This is going to be a tough slog.

Saw first episode, I didn't see a lot of "wokeness" and Mary Jane-ness... Her genetics helped Bruce, and she was able to do yoga better. She had done some yoga in past so that's why she could do that better. She's not stronger than Bruce which people were saying because of rock throw. As he was able to launch a 2nd rock miles it looked like as it started burning up as it left. She's able to control and balance her Hulk easy enough. It might be because her genetics are different and it could be that she has control of her emotions something Bruce had to work on. Thats the only SJW moment was her explaining to Bruce that she deals with catcalls, mainsplaining, and told to smile daily. And I'm sorry, even as a dude I know women go through this crap daily. Hell just going to the Mall with the Chica and being seperated for a bit I've seen the cat calling. And I've seen people Mansplaining all the time. The worst was a dude trying to explaining an aspect of mental illness to my Aunt who has a PhD in psychology and the dude knew she had the degree. I like the 4th wall breaking btw. The cgi is fine not bad or good. The only thing that was horrible was that kick at the end. It screamed I'm on a harness. I assume you mean Mary Sue-ness? I haven't watched the show yet so can't weigh in on whether she was or not, but just wanted to point out that being a Mary Sue doesn't mean you're better than everyone at everything. If she's able to get through her trials and challenges without much difficulties, then that's enough to make her a Mary Sue.

I know some will call her that because the kinda fly through her initial coming to terms with her hulkness. She doesn't have a secondary Hulk personality and is able to control her emotions a lot quicker than Bruce. I recognize they speed through it but I think it was to get to the major dynamic the show is going for.. A lawyer show where the main happens to be a hulk.

So the Sarkaarians are after Hulk. There's been rumors about a Hulk movie possibly in development, so I wonder of this us laying the ground work for it?

It's way too early to determine whether she's a Mary Sue anyway. You don't exactly expect a character to be put through the ringer in their very first episode. So I'll withhold my opinion on this till the season is finished. In the same vein, it wasn't till I finished the full season of Ms. Marvel that I realized she was a Mary Sue, whereas in the first few episodes I was defending her and claiming she wasn't a Mary Sue.

Do they explain how/why Hulk reverts back to Banner form? He made a device to help him become human again.

MY head canon is that Steve lost his Virginity to Bucky. Steve busted a big fat nut inside Bucky and filled him with some hot Rogers DNA.

Maybe that was before Disney told him the cgi was too expensive! The device ended up getting destroyed, but it explained why Banner was his human self in the Shang-Chi midcredit scene. No idea if that device will make a reappearance in a future mcu movie or show, but it's something Bruce can now create i guess.

Pretty enjoyable, but uneven cgi. The scene at the end, where the villain bursts into the courtroom, was shot very awkwardly.

According to Grace Randolph, if you didn't like Thor L&T then you probably won't like She-Hulk. That... doesn't sound like a good thing. Hmm. I don't think it's nearly as silly as Thor L&T.

Congratulations, you've run into Rule 84 of the internet: Anyone who uses the term "woke" unironically is a d-bag. Don't get mad at me, I didn't make the rules.

“.. With only a day remaining until its arrival, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is getting review-bombed on IMDb before its premiere on Disney+. Users of the online platform have flooded the show with over a hundred one-out-of-ten ratings, marking 44.1 percent of votes, while 44.4 percent have given it a perfect ten-out-of-ten rating…” screenrant.com/she-hulk-review-bombed-imdb-premiere-details/And I thought I had too much time on my hands. You'd think those reviews would be moot if they come out before the show. It's like giving a restaurant that hasn't opened yet a bad review. Here's a game you can play: Wait for the premiere date of any show approach which has leads who are with either minority or women. It's key that the show hasn't actually been released yet. Find people whining about the show. Suggestions their whining has more to do with them being racist and/or sexist than it has to do with the actual show. They will invariably respond by claiming that it's not racist or sexist to criticize "bad writing". Then ask them how they can criticize the writing of a show they haven't seen yet. Sit back and enjoy the scramble that ensues to justify their whining.

Something weird going on with the RT critic score and reviews of this show.
Yesterday morning it was at 87%, then it jumped to 91%, then dropped back to 86%. Today I saw it at 84%, then jumped to 95%, then now at 89%. If never seen critic ratings jump around like that before.
Also can't seem to consistently read the critic reviews. Sometimes they showed 8 reviews, sometimes only 3, now I can't seem to find any critic reviews on RT.
