So I know it's a little early but I thought with enough time we might actually get 100 listed by October and it'd give people a chance to look into any that strike their fancy.
This is in no particular order, I'll start.
100. Dracula by Bram Stoker (and if you're like me it'll take most of the month just to read it)

98. Collected Ghost Stories, M.R. James (Oxford’s 2011 version is the most recent reprint, but if you can find it, read the one with the introduction by Ruth Rendell—she’s spot-on in analyzing James).

82. The Legend of Decimus Croome: A Halloween Carol
Can't recommend this one enough, it's the perfect Christmas Carol twist on Halloween, and it is SO funny, the Scrooge character isn't just haunted by the spirits, he's insulted by them and zapped with a cattle prod.

81. A Night in the Lonesome October by Roger Zelazny
It's honestly the PERFECT October book given that there are 31 chapters, each taking place one day in October and it reads like a love letter to classic horror films and books.
