Where is The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)? not in contention due to being rubbish but have kept one LOTR and one Harry Potter film in rather than clutter the poll

I wasnt sure whether it had enough fantasy parts to be included, been a while since I saw it, I remember being about 2/3 real world 1/3 fantasy.. maybe less?

Pan's labyrinth definitely falls into the fantasy film category imo. The fantasy elements are what make the film what it is.

One of these does not belong. Warcraft? I haven't seen it but the most people seems to hate it. Edit: I guess the general public seems to think it's a decent movie but the critics slammed it hard.

Well yes, I obviously sided on that side of the fence in the end and included it. I am quite keen to rewatch it sometime, I think its easily the directors best.

It's so much better than his other movies I have a hard time believing he even directed it.

moviemouthI can't tell whether that's in reference to how some movies drop off for me in general (so kinda making fun of this situation from that angle) or is it because you think it's pretty dull and you are guessing i won't like it now? ; or is it something else? i don't think i have seen The Wizard of Oz (1939) since probably sometime in the 1990's (i would figure early 2000's at the most recent), maybe the early 1990's at that, which if that's the case i would have likely been in my teens (late 1999 i would have been 20). but just from memory i won't be surprised if it's harder to get into now for me given i have seen a lot more movies since then and you tend to be a bit pickier now since you have experienced over 2,100 movies and well beyond that counting re-watches of movies in general.

It was a comment at how many movies drop for you on re-watch, which is something I fail to comprehend. I have re-watched many movies and the majority of them stay relatively the same. In fact, movies go up for me on re-watch more than they go down. I am a huge fan of The Wizard of Oz and I have seen it many times.
