Today's sermon. Or today's chuckle. Or today's emetic.

People like him are why I decided to stop taking Christianity seriously.

Burn the pants? Surely a thrifty Christian woman would sell them on Poshmark.

Burn the pants? Surely a thrifty Christian woman would sell them on Poshmark. And entice others into sin? For shame!

Perhaps he is hoping for a return to this as the preferred "look" for women 1910 He'd find they're a little too touchy with each other. There's grooming afoot.

I agree. Go bottomless entirely. Business up top, party down below.

I grew up in a church that believed women wearing pants was a sin. So, my aunt used to wear pants under a skirt, she had a contrary nature. I think that privately everyone thought it was stupid and ignored it outside church.

What does he think of Mary Tyler Moore's performance as Laura Petrie?

Honestly, I really like dresses. I think it's a shame that they're so out of style right now. Dresses come in so many different cuts and styles and character, while jeans are pretty much just jeans. It was bizarre, but that was actually one of my pandemic time wasters, looking for dresses online. Maybe I was just subconsciously wishing for a big crowded social event where I could actually wear them. Strange.

What does he think of Mary Tyler Moore's performance as Laura Petrie? That would have made a great episode. Picture Rob explaining to Laura that he burned all her pants.

I wonder how he would view men in womens's dresses, like this: Not to mention the long hair...

Pants are the first step to a life of sin I know that was sarcasm. Honestly, it was easier to assault women if they wore a skirt than if they wore pants. Men thought pants made it more complicated to get what they wanted.

In my part of the world "pants" only ever refers to underpants. So interpreted through my lens he's basically telling women not to wear knickers and urging men to burn their women's knickers. So he's basically advocating that women go commando.

Is it because of panty lines?
And what about gay and lesbian couples?
Who wears the pants or panties in those situations?
Oh, I forgot, they're against gays and lesbians, right?
