Quality wise, Runaway Train (1985), 52-Pick Up (1986), Barfly (1987) is surely up there, among their very best made, acted and written films, at least of the more serious ones, and also makes me wonder if they have anyone that is near those three, coming from their huge movie catalog.
However, favorite, as in most enjoyable and re-watched, fun, crazy and just down right hilarious b-movies? Well, I guess Death Wish 3 (1985) is hard to top, but Cobra (1986), while not as hilarious or lighthearted, in fact probably the complete opposite, is another golden gem of that explosive and hard hitting sleazy movie era.
Kind of sad, to hear how many used to automatically dismiss a lot of their films, just because of the Cannon Group name, but as Charles Bronson put it so well and towards those who blasted his 80s releases:
"We don't make movies for the critics, since they don't bother to pay to see them anyhow."
Anyway, Runaway Train, 52-Pick Up and Barfly are not just three damn great Cannon films, but 3 great 80s films, that could easily stand their ground compared to what others studios had to offer. But one has to wonder if they would have done even better, without the Cannon name "holding them back", or so I think Eric Roberts or Jon Voight said something about, from a documentary of Runaway Train as a bonus feature.

Over the Top - One of Stallone's best films. Probably a minority opinion but I found it to be as good as Rocky if not better.
The Cannon Group were something else. Nobody made films like Cannon did. Great studio.

No love for The Delta Force? (Aside from one of the comments above.)

Invaders From Mars (1986) has some nostalgia value because we used to rent it when I was a kid. It's best to see it when you're a kid.
I remember The Last American Virgin being pretty good by teen sex comedy standards even though Siskel and Ebert hated it. Very downbeat ending.
Barfly and 52 Pickup are the other standouts that have been mentioned and that I've seen.

Either out of print, or brutally overpriced. Sadly, the ending was spoiled to me, years ago, but sooner or later, I will eventually watch it, as it seems like one of the more well like (even from those who usally not liked 80s teen sex comedies) sex comedies of the 1980s. Lifeforce (1985) is also one I really enjoyed when re-watching it, years later. A weird but very interesting sci-fi/horror thriller, with some spectacular scenes, one of the most beautiful and sexy female aliens ever, and also one I must track down and upgrade my old DVD into maybe one by Arrow Video.
