Salzmank, I've received my copy of VALLEY OF THE KINGS this week. Though I won't be able to watch it until November (October is reserved for all things horror), I will get back with my thoughts on it. Does the film have it's own thread yet? Apologies, Detour, I hadn't seen this till now. No, I don't think it has its own thread, though I mentioned it in the "Knock-offs et al." thread. |

I never sweat response lengths on message boards. I like to think people have lives that don't just revolve around me.  When I've watched, I'll start a thread. Its primary claim to fame nowadays is how much it is an Indy inspiration, after all. I suppose you could connect it with my "knock-offs" thread, though: the subject could be " Valley of the Kings: Indiana Jones Inspiration." I very much doubt that anyone would mind.  |

It wasn't in my top 50 until today, because I hadn't seen it in a while and I wanted to make sure it still holds up. I rewatched it today and it definitely does hold up so a 10/10 from me. One of the best adventure movies ever made and also one of the greatest movies ever made.
