This song was done first by Ricky Nelson, but in my opinion my late beautiful precious Billy Joe Royal is the one who took ownership of it 30 years ago by placing it on his Royal Treatment album. God bless you and his family always!!! Holly

Sometimes you could hear him come through some of the songs. I didn't listen to a lot of his music but I did like that. I think I wasted a lot of years not listening to him. Thunder Rolls is an excellent song.
