... i have noticed that how English speaking people say the letter E, Is how Norwegians say the letter I. I learned English almost 30 years ago, and i just realized that a few days ago. New Zealanders also do twisty pronunciation things with "e" and "i" and that's using words spoken in English.

Americans say 'a-LU-min-um' and Brits say 'a-lu-MIN-ium'. Just cracks me up! German does some twisty things with 'w' and 'v'.
Interesting, I find people who are bilingual, or trilingual, interesting to talk to.

Oh, I love his voice. He narrates some documentaries for PBS and I could watch those for hours.

I've heard that English is one of the most difficult languages to learn. In school, I learned this rhyme about spelling with i and e: Then I have found that they added all this! And, fittingly, the last word in all of that is 'weird'!

I do like to watch them but they are so quiet and comfy that they often get watched in segments because I have nodded off ... not from boredom but from familiarity of the voice and the non-violence of the plots. I shall miss him terribly when there are no more new shows but thank heavens for re-runs and the PBS archives !

I've heard that English is one of the most difficult languages to learn. Apparently it is. I speak English well not perfect i do have an accent, i think my spelling i think is generally fine. But my grammar is awful. But i do understand English perfectly. But apparently Norwegian is one of the easiest languages to learn for English speakers.
