Because Luke did not kiss Leia, it was Leia that kissed Luke.
Same thing with Back to the Future
people say that Marty kissed his mother Lorraine, but it was Lorraine that kissed her son Marty.

But Lea didn't kiss her "brother" in Empire Strikes Back... They were not brother & sister, until three years later when Lucas made Return Of The Jedi, and Lucas retconned that little bit of family history into the story...
Even then, the characters didn't know they were related at the time...
Why people get all freaked out by this, is beyond me...
If they kissed like that, while knowing they were related, then it would be a different situation.

Word is Luke was going to have a twin sister apart Leia. Episodes 7-9 would've been focused on her. Leia & Han would've been on the sidelines married.
It did kinda scuk that Leia's reaction to Vader being their father, who's empire blew up her home planet, wasn't much of one at all.
