Peacock has a lot of classic monster movies. I plan on checking a lot of those off my 'never seen' list.

After a rather long and sadly not too happy spring/summer, I really need a bit of a positive change, and with the upcoming month, which has kind of been "calling" on me, for quite some time now. Hopefully, it might turn into a far more pleasant and fun one, and yeah, I have kind of put a lot of movies on hold, as to make sure to warm myself up and get into the right mood.
Thankfully, the weather outside, is just as the doctor ordered. With lovely clean and fresh autumn air, the kind you can almost "drink" when you are walking or running outside, with golden leaves falling on the ground, and still all kind of colors are on the trees in the woods, and it keeps getting darker, way earlier, so yeah, the perfect atmosphere for some solid horror movie watching.
Have managed to make up a very small collection of unseen DVDs and Blu-rays, also a few which I will tend to give another watch, as I felt they might benefit from that, but I guess my main theme this fall, will be just browsing through, day by day, looking up on what is on Youtube for free. Which is gonna be surely a test of patience and willpower, as there is most likely, lots of awful ones, lying await for me, but on the other hand, it might be worth a few bumps, every now and then, if one can land on a few hidden gems.
For the weekends, I will try to at least have a few classics or personal favorites on hold, in order to always make sure that there is something to look forward to, kind of boost the motivation a bit, if one tend to get stuck on too many turds, as that can surely happen, and yeah, then trying to pump yourself up with 3-4 films in a row, might be not that tempting, nor easy.
Anyway, I hope everyone who participates gets to have themselves a great upcoming month, and it will be as always fun and interesting to look up on what kind of films and how the progress is going, as it also might help to find new films and also keep up the motivation.

I always look forward to this, and thanks once again to lostinlimbo for hosting.
I won't be doing a theme this year, but my goal is to hit 100. I go on vacation 10/14 through 11/1, so I think I will be able to hit this mark with (relative) ease.
Damn, I just live for this time of year.

Is it that time again already? 🎃
Every year I say this, and then I wind up in the top ten, but once again I'm unsure if I will do very well this year or if I have enough chance to. We will see, I guess.
Good luck everyone and happy viewing! 📺🎃

I wish all of you the best! I hope you all reach your viewing goals! I don't participate in the challenge myself, I've have over the years read through all posts to give myself some inspiration of what to watch and what to skip. The whole October Horror Challenge idea is a great way to make many members of this great sight to be engaged together, hopefully to see loads of horror movies, and I dearly support what you are doing! Honestly I've been watching Horror and Slashers since the Summer with whatever I can find on streaming. But I've found a few movies I've never watched before on streaming. "Bloody Summer Camp", "Camp Twilight", and "Bloody Bloody Summer Camp". Watched "Requiem for a Scream" on Tubi last night.
I'll definitely watch my Universal Monsters collection sooner rather than later.

Got the classic Dracula off my list. Decent flick...kind of a clunky ending tho.

My schedule this year isn't as well suited to the Challenge as on previous years. I can only watch movies at night and that won't be practical every night due to personal circumstances. I will consider double-bills on days that suit but I'm really not much of a fan of watching movies back-to-back, so I don't know if anything will come of that idea. Doubt I'll manage to watch a huge array of movies this year but I'll give it a go anyway.

Assuming I'm allowed in i got quite a few films in my queue. Trick was my first watch. It wasn't great but its also not bad. Its an entertaining horror film that won't leave you bored. 5/10 basically. Won't watch again but it was fine to watch.

Doubt I'll manage to watch a huge array of movies this year but I'll give it a go anyway. Yeah, I have tried a few times earlier, to see horror movies during daytime, and that rarely (if ever) works any good with my mood or motivation, as I sure prefer to spend the evenings and night time on that kind of entertainment. But of course, there will most likely be some changes, every now and then, but during the weekends, that is usually when I try get a few more into the tight-squeezed horror-program. Managed to see 4 films last night, but of course, only two where horror films, as I warmed up before September went into becoming October, with two films that I felt set the right pace, in The Running Man (1987) and One False Move (1992). Sadly, neither of the two horror titles, were any good, and decided to stop, and take a break, instead of just watching, for the sake of watching. Hopefully my picks for later weekend films, might be a bit more rewarding or entertaining. Anyway, I wish you good luck on your October Horror ride.

Maybe binge watch if it’s a wet weekend. definitely got a bit more going on this month, compared to previous challenges.
