As someone who has seen KILLER'S KISS Doghouse, I can tell you that is definitely not Frank Silvera, it is Jamey Smith. I am not sure if you know who Frank Silvera was, but he was a black man of Jamaican heritage. I imagine Silvera got top billing because he was better known than Smith. The late character actor Frank Silvera is quite an historically important player in the history of black actors in Hollywood. Many thanks, m'friend. I wasn't familiar with either player and indeed made an assumption based on the billing. Frank Silvera is an actor and a man worth reading up on, and he could certainly act. If one was to write a book on actors of color - and their casting, in Hollywood from the forties to the seventies he would merit a couple of chapters. Once upon a time in a world long ago, clore2 would have swooped in and given you a wonderful rundown on Sivera. But that was then and this is now. Fact is, I really should give you a couple of paragraphs on the man, but my energy levels are pretty low right now. Still, if I have aroused your interest in Frank Silvera even a little that's a worthwhile thing.

Warner DVD. -SHIRT TALES (1982) “The Games Master/ Shirt Napped” Warner Archive DVD. -THE MORK AND MINDY LAVERNE SHIRLEY FONZ HOUR (1982) “Who’s Minding the Brat?/ The Greatest Schmoe on Earth/ The Speed Demon Get Away Caper” The last of ABCs Sitcom Animated adaptations bring MORK & MINDY (with Pam Dawber and Robin Williams- his first cartoon) to Saturday Morning (with an alien dog) and puts Henry Wrinkler & Mr Cool on LAVERNE & SHIRLEY own cartoon. (Although Henry Winkler still plays Fonzie, Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams have bowed out). YouTube -THE SCOOBY AND SCRAPPY DOO SHOW (1982) “Maltese Mackerel/ Yabbas Hustle Rustle / Basketball Bumblers” The third (and final season) of the Trio phase takes a different approach. One segment has the trio as detectives. The second segment is Day in the Life, with goofy adventures and hanging out with people. The third I guess was based on the idea that Scrappy can hold his own show. The nephew is in the West with his Uncle Yabba Doo (No he doesn’t steal Fred’s catchphrase, using Dippity in his phrase) and cowardly partner Deputy Dusty. Amazon Prime. -PAC MAN (1982) “ Presidential Pac Knappers/Picnic in PacLand” The popular Arcade Game becomes an animated series. Here, Pac Man and his family fight the human villain Mesmeron and his ghost minions to protect the Pac Pellet forest from his control. VHS Recording of NBC repeat broadcast from November 23 1985, which retains Stan Lee’s narration. -THE INCREDIBLE HULK (1982) “Prisoner of the Monster” Amazon Prime.
ER (1997) “Ambush” 25TH ANNIVERSARY County Hospital becomes part of a documentary, accidentally sharing the present situation: Morgenstern gets a heart attack, Benton shuns Carter for changing to Medicine, and Mark is still suffering trauma from his assault. The famed Live Episode, shot twice for both sides of the country. I remember seeing it on its premiere, believing there would be a lot of goofs. I was a little disappointed at the time to see everyone coasting fine. Later I ended up liking the episode for what it is. I think this is the second version; the first had a lingering shot on Dr Greene weeping. This gets cut off in this version. Warner DVD.

Franchise began with the release of this OVA, introducing Tenchi Masaki as he sneaks into the family shrine, finds a sword, meets a living mummy who turns out to be a beautiful woman named Ryoko who hunts him down at his school. Familiar with the TENCHI MUYO IN LIVE film, I decided to buy the OVA on VHS in June 2000; I was captivated, buying the other episodes as soon as I could afford them. Japanese with English Subtitles. Pioneer DVD.
BATMAN THE ANIMATED SERIES (1992) “Two Face Part 1” 30TH ANNIVERSARY Harvey Dent hasissues (with a submerged aggressive personality). TNT had a marathon of TASTE THE BLOOD OF DRACULA, THE SATANIC RITES OF DRACULA, and this film in November 1992 (in view of the upcoming BRAM STOKERS DRACULA). I only spotted the beginning before switching to SNL. I finally saw the full film in Spring 1993. Warner VHS.

Eh, regarding Teleadm's Syrian-inspired skewers... The food looks delicious. Would you be willing to share the recipe? Well, I showed this specific pic at a local Oriental Deli this summer, and when I said it was Syrian they somehow knew what I meant. The skewers was lamb and chicken, and the dips were made to order too, one hot and one cool. So the only thing we did was the grilling. It looked a bit messy when we did it, but tasted wonderful.
