A player from NY team won the batting title. Not Judge. Congrat Jeff McNeil!

From Jayson Stark today - - Aaron Judge in context: I don't think it is an act with those two - - they seem to really enjoy each other. If it isn't true, they are really good fakers.

Four 100+ win teams, Dodgers, Astros, Braves, Mets Four 100+ loss teams, Nationals, Athletics, Reds, Pirates
Dodgers, with 111 wins, tie the 1954 Indians with the 4th best win total in history
1906 Cubs - 116 wins 2001 Mariners - 116 wins 1998 Yankees - 114 wins 1954 Indians - 111 wins 2022 Dodgers - 111 wins
Interesting fact, only the '98 Yankees won the WS.

That 2001 Mariners team was so loaded and ridiculous top to bottom. Since June 1, the Braves played at a 114 win pace. You wonder if 5 days off is actually not great for them given their unstoppable momentum culminating in this past weekend’s series. I’m sure it won’t matter, they have last years experience (which they’re wield as a potent weapon) but still, we have seen hot teams stumble coming off a few days off in the playoffs - it happens when one team sweeps but has to wait around 5 days for the other series to end, it happens in the NFL all the time.
