Anyone but Donovan. He was poorly acted and not even menacing in the slightest. Belloq by a mile. I rather consider Elsa the villain of the third movie. As far as villains proper go, Donovan is the villain of Crusade. Elsa is to Donovan what Col. Dietrich was to Belloq (even though Belloq worked for Dietrich). But Colonel Vogel - the henchman - has more presence as villain of all three baddies in Crusade. Curiously, Vogel is never mentioned by name in the entire film. We only really learn his name in the end credits. Curiosity #2 - Paul Freeman's accent is difficult to peg as French, but in interviews he has demonstrated that he easily masters an [accent=French]outrageous French accent[/accent], but I suppose Spielberg didn't want the accent to be too heavy. Curiosity #3 - In the tank scene, when he's hanging from the gun turret, you can see bird droppings on the brim of Indy's fedora.

Curiosity #4 - on Netflix, the thumbnail for Temple of Doom is from a deleted scene, where Indy reaches out to touch the cobra effigy in awe right after he has snatched up the Sankara stones.

I really like Belloq, and I'm always disappointed he wasn't in anything else (for obvious reasons, but still...). He's a grand character.

I went with Belloq, but it was a neck-and-neck race with Mola Ram. I almost didn't have the heart to vote, again, thanks to Mola Ram.
