What a joke
Eagles #8?
Vols should be higher - can't wait for the Tenn / LSU game - Vols did lose a WR and DB though......

Undefeated UCLA not in the top 30? Well, OK, I guess. 3 - 2 Baylor at 19 is not OK.

Curious to see Oct. 15 (if the Jayhawks get by TCU this week and how the Sooners play vs. Texas) -
#19 Kansas 5-0 at Unranked Oklahoma
In this guys ranking
Oklahoma - 10 Kansas - 48
That's quite the discrepancy .....

The 3-3 Bucs and Bengals are ranked ahead of the #5 Eagles. The 5-1 Giants are #23, ten spots back of the 1-4 Raiders, and behind five 2-4 teams (Saints, Browns, Jags, Cards, and Broncos). The 4-2 Jets are #25. The 5-1 Vikings are #17. The 3-3 Niners are #9 despite having the "easiest" schedule.

I'm sure you've posted it before, but what exactly does he base this on, besides 'who can I troll this week?' It doesn't seem to go by strength of schedule, or actual game results.

It seems to be only based on scores and recency now. He used to also have an ELO Chess rating that ignored scores - this was what he used for the BCS and was included as one measure for the NFL. sagarin.com/sports/nflsend.htmThe Vols posted a simulated BCS ranking. volswire.usatoday.com/lists/2022-college-football-bcs-simulated-top-25-rankings-ahead-of-week-8/

Michigan at #4 is a damned joke. Their only mildly impressive win was against a Penn State team that has proven they can't run with he Big dogs. They actually got two fort place voted in the Coaches Poll. I would really like to know who, in their right minds, thinks that Georgia wouldn't piss beat the Wolverines by 25. TCU has beaten four teams that were ranked at the time they played. And kicked the asses of three of them. Sagarin is a clown
