You know we're in a post-American world when the one who greased the destruction of its democratic rules & principles can't even get a seat at this table. He didn't directly do anything, yet being gatekeeper & enabler to the freedom for all unless you're white with a penis klan isn't nothing. Frankly, I'd put the Kim fcuktards in the top 5. They're an occupying cult who are literally starving &/or torturing their own populace. You want scathing, wait a couple thousand years & see how harshly those history books judge us for letting that happen. China & the US should just turn the entire country into a DMZ between them, removing all civilians to safety in their choice of South Korea or China.

Does Hirohito belong on the list? He wasn't the shadow Emperor who was completely kept in the dark like the post-war image of him. He definitely knew what Japan was doing. But he wasn't an Emperor in the mold of Augustus or Napoleon. The Emperor was still God on Earth, the son of the Sun God. A Japanese Emperor wasn't expected to lower himself to muddle in the doings of men. And he did end the was after Hiroshima and Nagasaki, when much of the Japanese military was still favoring a battle to the last man. An invasion of the Home Island would have been bloody on a scale that few people can comprehend.

I will take your word for it. Not familiar at all with Equatorial Guinea.
At the risk of starting a left x right discussion and of sounding like I am defending Pinochet, which is most assuredly not my intention (if there is a Hell, I am certain that that's where the old bastard will be deservedly spending eternity), in this kind of discussion Pinochet is often brought up as one of the worst dictators of the 20th century, but in reality he should be pretty low down such a list. He was much more vilified than Fidel Castro for example, who was a much worse dictator in every conceivable measure stick and yet was admired and praised in certain circles.
