It has to be ads. Especially during NFL games. It's such crap, change of possession, ad break, punt the ball, ad break, fumble, ad break, score a FG or TD, ad break, review a play, ad break, interception, ad break. It just sucks....
I almost always DVR the games now so I can skip them. It's a mess.

Isn't the ad blocker for TV called DVR? Maybe indirectly.......but ad blockers work in 'real time', and DVR's don't..... SAVE FERRIS My DVR records live TV. So if a commercial break happens, I can pause it, then in about 4 or 5 minutes, I just fast forward through the ads at high speed. I can leave my TV on the game channel, pause it, go out, get home a half hour after a game starts, fast forward to the game start, then catch up to real time by skipping ads.

Also can do two channels side by side, with both recording.

It's the only programming that I feel like I need to have live.

10 minute overtimes in the NFL. Super boring. Just have it be an untimed quarter for the first two possessions. Then 10 minutes after that.

MLB.TV I paid for it one year to watch the Braves every game. Never again. I even paid for the upgraded version to watch minor league games. They would black out too many games so I could only get a radio broadcast. It made no sense. I maybe got 100 games worth. If I'm paying to watch out of market games, I expect to watch every damn one I want.

The interface is clunky, the fast-forwarding sucks, the "condensed game" feature is downright awful, and this thing they do where they just show the players standing around with no audio while the commercial on the actual broadcast plays is absurd. Just a terrible product.

When between inning, they just have a screen saying on commercial break. Is that true when watching live? I found that silence more annoying than having actual commercial.

I mean, the team's have already had 4 qrts to decide it, sudden death makes sense at this point.

You can score first, but if you score in one way it's over but in another way it's not yet, and if the other team gets the ball second any score wins and if the.... whatever. Too many stupid qualifiers. The simplest approach is the best. Put time on the clock, play it like it's a game. I'd be more inclined to go with sudden death if they just didn't allow field goals at all, but even then: convoluted bull shit.

From what I remember yes they do the commercial break screen. I paid for this like 4 years ago and I haven't heard it got any better.

The fact that the baseball playoffs stretch into November now. If MLB continue to expand the playoff season, they could be going until Christmas. 🙁

It has 12 numbers on it, but the day has 24 hours. The day starts at 12, which is at night, there are two hands of different sizes that mean totality different things, and another fun fact about it is the 6 means 30. I taught all of this to a 5 year old and she learned it pretty easily. I think we can handle a couple overtime rules.

I can understand that you're being a dick, but I don't understand why you think anything you said has any relationship to what I said. It's always amusing to see someone talking down to you and calling you stupid by trying patronize you with the dumbest bullshit you've read in a while.
