If you mean spent money on, then low rise jeans, which are better pulled off by guys with a body fat percentage of 10 or less. I was a solid 15-20 at the time, I think.

Come to think about it, i did do slagging. I just remembered that i did use to do that back in the 90s when i was a teenager.
Not sure if that counts as a fashion fad.

In a way, if one goes to buy clothes, you only have the choices at the store. In that way all of us follow fashion trends. Exactly, unless you go out of your way to buy unfashionable clothes, when you buy any new clothes, they're probably going to be at least in line with general trends (cut, colors, fabrics). Most people have probably fallen victim to this one also, whether knowingly or not. I have been normcore for most of my life. That only makes me more dashing when I dress up.
