Mine are Michael Jordan and Angus Young. Maybe a few other minor ones.

I dont really have one…that Id call that at least. I do have/ did have a mentor that I admired a lot at work - my former boss. Great guy. Everything good I am as a leader I am because of him (and my mom who is also admirable as a leader).

David Narcizo, innovative drummer, inventive graphic designer, experimental musical programmer, committed political activist, engaged in life ... the engine room, the rock, the man who showed me how (I'm still trying to be half the man he is and if I get three quarters of the way before death I'll be "so happy"). I salute this man!
'As drummer for Throwing Muses, David Narcizo has held one of the trickiest jobs in popular music for thirty years. Kristin Hersh’s songs are not, and have never been, simple; they are full of twists and turns, tempo changes, time signature changes and unusual feels. Narcizo has coped with it all; he’s even made it danceable. No doubt he’s been helped by the band’s series of quality bass players: Leslie Langston, Fred Abong and Bernard Georges. But still, he’s made a tough job look pretty easy and instinctive for three decades.'
- Songs From So Deep
'Shimmer' {... seen here behind the sticks - audio fixes itself at 18 seconds ... let's all-out rock for halloween ... } - Throwing Muses

Plus size women, that are models. Are roll models. It's always a pleasure to meet a fellow Ashley Graham fan.

Seann William Scott and Paul Rudd. Paul Rudd is good, but Phill Rudd is just a little bit better.

I was always partial to Tom Servo. "What a cool guy."

Kerr Avon - BLAKE'S 7 Greg Preston - SURVIVORS (1975) Spock - STAR TREK (1966)Special Mention: Alan Ward - NEW SCOTLAND YARD I am unfamiliar with the others, but most certainly agree with this one... science and logic. I have had mentors and others who I aspire to be more like, Rachel Carson, for one, obviously. I admire science author Laurie Garrett and the researchers she writes about. I've had two artistic mentors, both good friends. And I greatly admire Barack Obama. And having said all that, I am going to be less present on this board for a while. The current state of the world - climate change, the war on Ukraine - and American politics and the divisive behavior and cult mentality in this country have worsened my Weldtschmerz and I need a break. Input overload, on this board and the media. Maybe this winter I will just hibernate...

So the wisest thing any of us can do is to look after ourselves the best we can.
