My oldest Daughter was married 10 years ago today in Florida.
Sandy threatened, but went up the coast devastating the East coast.
What is your Sandy story?

I don't have one. I was living in the greater seattle area at the time
But now I live in an area and in a house that was affected by it. I hear this area wasn't hit as bad as other states but it still wasn't pretty. This house had no power for days.
There was roof damage to the house from it but that's about it. My room-mates had to break a hole in the ceiling in the room under where the roof was damaged because they couldn't afford to fix the roof or have a mold problem. With a hole in the ceiling, when it rains the water just falls straight into the bathtub and goes down the drain

We got a lot of rain but no wind.
Funny thing that most people don't know, Hurricane Sandy dumped nearly three feet of snow in the West Virginia mountains. last thing you equate with a hurricane is snow.
