Never saw it. Just following the herd.

Larry Miller and Steven Wright were very funny. Lou and Warren.

That Helen Hunt was a big thing there for awhile is odd, looking back on it. Her time came and went very quickly.

I used to watch the repeats on occasion. I had trouble getting into it.

Ran forever and was totally unmemorable. I remember it leading into Seinfeld. I tried to not tune in too early.

Liked it when it was on but like someone else said it was ultimately forgettable.
Reiser's a good actor and so's Hunt. Reiser's always been work shy and Hunt didn't really do much after starring in Pay it Forward, What Women Want and Castaway in 2000 admittedly. To be fair, looks like that's the literal truth. She was only in 4 movies in the next 11 years. Forgot she was even in Soul Surfer in 2011. Apparently she was Moe's girlfriend Renee in the Simpsons episode Dumbbell Indemnity.

I wasn’t mad about it but I enjoyed it at the time. If I remember correctly I stopped watching it before it ended though - like with Friends. At some point I got fed up with it, which never happened with Seinfeld or Frasier.

At some point I got fed up with it, which never happened with Seinfeld or Frasier. Liked all those. Only watched Seinfeld to the end though. Still never seen the Frasier or Friends finales even though my wife and my little sister watch the latter constantly. Was disappointed with the cynical ending to Mad About You when I saw it on cable with the couple ending up divorced.

Really enjoyed it when it was on.......but remember HATING that whole "Jamie cheats on Paul" storyline where she kissed some guy. Really ?? Why did they think this goofy, enjoyable sitcom needed to go there (and the ridiculousness that, of course, her cheating on him was just kissing the guy, and not actually sleeping with him) ?? And loved Lisa Kudrow as Phoebe Buffay's clueless sister Ursula (the waitress at the restaurant)......but disliked that a few years into the show Jamie suddenly had new parents, played by Carol Burnett and Carroll O'Connor.......guess we were just supposed to conveniently forget that her parents had previously been played by two other people in multiple episodes earlier in the series ( Penny Fuller and John Karlen)! Also remember buying the 'best of' episodes collection they put out many years later on DVD, where Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt sat around discussing the significance of the show with some "professor" of television.......VERY off-putting listening to how "important" they seemed to think this show had somehow been, and how self-important it made them all seem......IT WAS JUST A SITCOM !! SAVE FERRIS

SAVE FERRIS The highest praise that you could ever give that show would have been "well crafted". Any list of the greatest shows of all time does not have Mad About You in it. Ridiculous that they would have tried to sell it as iconic, revolutionary, beloved, etc. Does any network show reruns of Mad About You?

An episode, towards the end of the series, involving Paul and Jamie outside the bedroom of their newborn daughter letting her fall asleep- without responding to her cries- that sticks out to me the most.
While it lasted long enough to not fall into the "time slot hit" distinction, it's not exactly a classic either. And that's despite Helen Hunt winning an Emmy in addition to her Oscar in the same year.
