Lee Grant's Great Comeback on TV's "Peyton Place"

Lee Grant turned 97 Oct. 31. I've always enjoyed Grant as an actress, but was stunned when I watched Lee as Stella Chernak in "Peyton Place" reruns during Covid lockdown. Grant was slowly getting off the blacklist and back on the A-list. Lee won an Emmy as the surly, volatile, but vulnerable Stella on the '60s TV phenom. My look back at Lee's amazing comeback:
