Correct! Included in the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act is a provision which prohibits the use of "nonpublic information misappropriated from a government source." The orange crop report scheme that Murphy and Dan Aykroyd used in the 1983 film Trading Places was not illegal at the time of the movie's release; it took nearly 30 years to make this rule prohibiting the practice. This provision is known as the "Eddie Murphy Rule."
