good solid performance against a pretty poor side. To be picky the defence were sloppy on a few occasions but that's about it. VAR is a joke though. I just can't see how it can call the ref to the monitor for the Iran pen for shirt pulling yet not for a man being grappled with two arms to the floor. There really should be proper explanations for these decisions. If I were a conspiracy theorist I would say that FIFA is doing all it can to boost football in the middle East at the expense of fair play after just 2 games.
