This was a weird movie that I saw no later than 2006. It was not an old movie at the time. Here are snippets I remember:
A luxury airliner, which the movie periodically cuts to, is forced to perpetually fly until it runs out of fuel and crashes, because there is a global blizzard that prevents it from landing anywhere in the world. There is a lone passenger, a wealthy man, who seems to be very blasé about it. He sits there sipping champagne, occasionally talking to people on the ground by phone. In my memory I remember him as John Cusack, but this can't be the case - I've checked all his credits, and nothing fits the bill.
A scene at an ice rink - in the foreground two characters are talking. In the background, figure skaters enter the rink to practice. A sniper kills off the figure skaters one by one, and no one has any reaction to it whatsoever - not even the figure skaters.
At the end, outdoors, on or by a frozen lake - three friends. Two of them learn that the third in their party has betrayed them in some way, there is an argument, and he is forced to continue on his own. He is soon seen to freeze to death, alone. The two remaining survivors carry on on their own, smiling, laughing, dancing a bit, before they, too, eventually freeze to death.

Dunno what it is but when you find out and the title is here, I shall be sure to skip watching it. Is it a movie in English ?
Consider this a bump !

Consider this a bump ! In English, yes. Or it would have been odd for me to have pictured John Cusack as one of the characters.

Yes. I’ve been trying to figure this out but I got nuthin’. The plot sounds absolutely insane. In fairness, I couldn't really make out the plot properly when I saw it, either. The whole world was coming to a freezing end, I think. The sun had not been extinguished, because the last scene I described - which was at the very end of the movie - was in broad daylight.
