These guys have made an impact and are likely destined for the HOF - but nobody gives a crap about them or their team: MLB - Albert Pujols NBA - Vince Carter NFL - Eli Manning NHL - Jaromir Jagr Go! ![](http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e41/imdbv2/imdbsmileys/cheers.gif)

Ouch. Sad but true. How epic would it be if he did bolt for the Spurs - after making that pitch for DeAndre Jordan to nix his deal with Dallas and go back to the Clips. I don't think he's going anywhere - how shameful would it be?

Albert Pujols has dropped off the radar since he left the Cards, if he stayed or the Angels were relevant he would be more recognised. That being said, he will still be considered an all time great when he is done. Jaromir Jagr gets alot of credit from what I hear.

MLB - Maybe Adrian Beltre? He's had to have had the least impactful career of any player that will most likely end up in the HOF. I think only stat geeks really give a crap about him.

Pujols is weird. He's still putting up good numbers, guess he's overshadowed by Trout.

remind me which team Jagr's currently on? he's an enigma. have a great deal of respect for him. what's he like 40 and still a machine being productive to this day with kids half his age? i remember he played for the pens with his mullet and was hated by flyers fans. funny thing - since then - he's pretty much played for every rival - flyers, rangers, devils - you name it - went overseas - came back. some people have a little disdain for that as a fan. not me. go where life makes you happy and you 'do you'. guy's 'the terminator'. more power to him - good for him

He's still putting up good numbers, guess he's overshadowed by Trout. it's my thoughts on Jagr and Carter too. still putting up 'numbers' but not in the conversation when it comes to the current 'elite' - when they were once in that conversation. i don't 'longevity' where you just stay productive should have a negative impact on one's legacy

Albert Pujols got a lot of recognition in his prime, his production has dropped off with age and the Angels suck.
I think Clayton Kershaw is a legend that doesn't get enough recognition, he's never won a title but just look at his career stats, he's definitely the best pitcher of his generation and of the 21st Century so far IMO, and he will be remembered as a legend in the future. Beltre is nearing 3000 hits and he has never quite gotten enough appreciation.
An MLB player who is still very young but on his way to being a legend is Jose Altuve. At just 27, he's already won 2 batting titles, has already gotten 1113 hits, has stolen 30 plus bases 5 years in a row, and also has solid power as well.

Peyton Manning. His role as Tom Brady's nemesis becomes more and more insignificant as Brady keeps racking up the rings.
