Each year we have a playoff competition. We each put in $10,000 and whoever picks the most winners in the NBA playoff series correctly, wins the pool. The competition is already over, nobody can catch me, I picked EVERY SINGLE SERIES correctly!
FIRST ROUND:
Celtics v Bulls
Wizards v Hawks
Cavs v Pistons
Raptors v Bucks
Warriors v Portland
Clippers v Jazz
Spurs v Grizz
Rockets v OKC
SECOND ROUND:
Celtics v Wizards
Cavs v Raptors
Warriors v Jazz
Spurs v Rockets
THIRD ROUND:
Celtics v Cavs
Warriors v Spurs
I got every single one of them correct. Just for the record I am taking Warriors over Cavs in Finals. I will be the first human to go a perfect 15 for 15.

that is because you have a 146 IQ 147. That one point is crucial. If I had a 146 IQ, I would have gotten one of the playoff series wrong. 147...I get the all correct.

So, in other words, you want to be congratulated for picking chalk in every series minus the Jazz-Clippers, where, unbeknownst to you, the injury to Blake Griffin could have changed that series around.
Retarded chimpanzees could pick the NBA playoffs. There is absolutely zero drama in who is going to win. Plenty of wild card teams win in the NFL and MLB. The 16th seed is in the Stanley Cup final. When was the last time even the 5th seed in a conference played for the NBA finals?

When was the last time even the 5th seed in a conference played for the NBA finals? Chalk? Jazz over Clippers was chalk? I went with Jazz over Clippers because I know basketball. I watched a lot of Jazz games this year, know every player on that squad, know their coach is a rising great...and I know the Clippers will shit the bed every year, and I know the Clippers will have an injury to a key player every year. I know my stuff that's why I went an astonishing 14 for 14! And nothing easy about picking chalk. If chalk always played out, every gambler would be a millionaire.

Almost everyone should make money if you can bet on who is going to straight up win an NBA series. Who didn't think the Warriors and Cavaliers were going to make it to the finals? Boom - - six series/bets won right there. You must get pennies on the dollar for such bets, though.

But are you sure, are you willing to lay down real good money (say, $340 to win $100 a series), that the Warriors and Cavs would win all six of those early round series? You do realize that injuries are as important a factor in determining outcomes as having four All Stars on your team. One injury to Kyrie or Draymond or, heaven forbid, Steph or LeBum, and your chalk bet - laying $340 to win $100 - goes right down the toilet.
Gambling on sports, even picking chalk, is hard. Hard to become rich betting sports. That's why we live in a country where the majority of the citizens are working class.
