You are the one who can't understand a simple comment even when the comment, which should never have needed any further explanation, has been explained to you. You are the one who derailed a thread to focus entirely on your stunningly off-base bullshit while calling someone else a narcissist. I guess it's all inline with you inability to understand irony... unless this is some meta-ironic commentary on irony. In which case; Bravo! That would make more sense than you actually being serious at this point. My original post was left in December and it was more so directed at the film than at the people who populate TikTok. Three months later, you chose to respond to me to discuss...wait for it...TikTok users. You are the one who proclaimed that I have no point, even though it's been explained to you, multiple times. You are either too simple-minded to grasp it or playing the narcissist card. The genesis of the derailing lies with your focusing, solely, on TikTok users which was then exacerbated by your stubbornness and personal attack. You've been so hung up on what you think you know about TikTok and irony. This has absolutely nothing to do with either. It has to do with the, indisputable, fact that people on TikTok were hyping this movie. Nothing you type is going to change that. Nothing. Not sure what happened in this thread, but I saw it and wouldn't mind an actual discussion about it! I guess you can call it a viral sensation as social media helped get this a ton of attention. That, and a Shudder distribution.
It wasn't my favorite movie by any stretch, as I mentioned in the other thread, but I do admire anyone who tries something a bit outside the box.

Did you watch the whole thing? Not that you would've changed your mind or anything, but I just would imagine that people who weren't with it in the first half hour or so would just give up at a certain point and shut it off. Especially those watching at home. |

Especially those watching at home. I usually dont like to forward a film but I did a little bit with this film. Plus I was so bored I was falling asleep. But I saw most of it. |

First I've heard of it. Found it on reddit which suggests it's too dark and somewhat bland. 5.5 on IMDB. I'll throw it on my list for the October challenge, if I do it this year.
