I'm sure the people of Serdica, Phillipopolis, Arcadiopolis, Sirmium, Naissus, Metz, Aquileia (all cities sacked by the Huns) didn;t give him a tom of sympathy

Did you know that Attila’s name might have been given to him by the Goths and translates as Little Daddy? Apparently, they were admirers of their fellow tribal raider from the east. He is even a character in some Norse sagas.
