It's time to look back on this past year of your life with 2022 coming to an end. So how was 2022 for you? What were the highlights/lowlights? How is the outlook for you for 2023?

2022 was fine.
Going to a medieval festival was probably the highlight, can`t think of any lowlights.

Not bad. I began a new adventure and health-wise, okay. Lost a loved one. Made new friends.

It didn't suck as much as 2020.

Not particularly good, but it could have been much worse.

A bit more positive than the last two years, but still taking a while to fully recover. The highlight was having the chance to go to the movies again (got to see 4 total since 2020).

OK. Better than '20 and '21 but nothing to brag about.

I don't want 2023 to be like 2022. I want it to be better.

It was worse watching the world burn, while for the most part I was fine. I've 2 sound solid gigs I can work up to 6-7 days easily whenever I want for job & income security. Inflation didn't wreck me too much at the checkout, yet bills & essentials costs of course went up - & yet feels less scary knowing I'm not alone, not doing something wrong or whatever.
Dare I say, the world feels less crowded after COVID. Feels like there's a stepped back more cautious/patient malaise, which is a good tonic from loud obnoxious stupidity.
Ontario's atrocious voter turnout in the spring had me quit getting fired up about news & politics. We're literally on the brink of public healthcare extinction here & no one even cares to show up to make a difference. I'm done with watercooler politics, ppl just want to be told how to live I guess.

Not particularly good, but it could have been much worse. That's pretty much my assessment.

Not the best year for me , but it ended well after many complications . My daughter had a good job as a retail shop manager , but the owner kept pushing the hours forcing her resignation . That was at the end of 2019 . She and her partner moved in with us , and with their accrued pay , built a late model motorhome , staying with us till the beginning of 2021 , then heading off to travel the country and doing seasonal work . Since then , she has settled in another state in a quiet mining town and working there . We also saw off her beloved dog together . Early this year we had a another son who works as a media coordinator , move in with us with his family in prep- aration for a move to another state where his wife's home town is . The beginning of 2022 , I got sick with Covid and then had a run of flu's right through our Australian winter , but I began to improve about 2 months back and had a really great Christmas . We've had cool moderate weather in our spring and the heat only hit one week before Christmas . After a few years of really bad national fires and drought , the last 2 years have had terrible floods everywhere .

Like most years it had its ups and downs, but over all I canβt complain. I have my health, my extraordinary man, my dear animals and an incredible family that I love. All I want is the same for 2023.
