It didn't suck as much as 2020. 🤣 That's a rousing recommendation 🤣🤣🤣

Is this an annual festival? Yes. You are such a conversationalist. Lol Did you wear a costume? What medieval foods were available? Tell us about it. I only have King of the Hill and Reno 911 episodes as a reference.

No i did not wear a costume, i am not really big into costume wearing. Mostly just meat as far as i could see, i did not really go to the food stalls since i did not want to stand in the long queue that was around the food stalls. I did watch a Tournament (medieval) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tournament_(medieval) which was fun

It was a good year for me. It felt like a return of the pre-pandemic days.

It was okay...but I much prefer 2021 when I didn't get sick with the flu like 5 times.

2022 was a mixed bag.
The positives:
- I have continued to maintain a somewhat good relationship with my brother Jim. We were estranged for 15 years but reconnected in 2021. It is a slow process.
- I reconnected with an old friend of mine named Denis. We also had not seen each other in over a decade. It unfortunately took a tragedy for him to have the time to reconnect with me.
- My Christmas Day holiday gathering was finally the most normal it has been since 2019. Everyone who would normally attend in the past did not come in 2020 and 2021 due to the virus but finally in 2022, everyone was there and it was uplifting.
The negatives --
- My oldest brother Duane died. I had been trying to reconnect with him and my other sisters (all of them much older than me) but they refused to respond back to me.
- A good friend of mine from my job passed away right before the holidays and it really depressed me.
- Under the positives, I mentioned I reconnected with a friend of mine but it took a tragedy for him to have the time to reconnect with me. His wife (also a friend of mine) died from cancer at the relatively young age of 49.
- A church that I had really enjoyed going to for the last 8 years got rid of the 5:30pm time slot that I was accustomed to going to. A few months after that, I found out the entire church has closed. All of this due to low attendance due to this stupid pandemic that seems will never be declared over or endemic or whatever the freaking word is. I am just so tired of the ripple effects of COVID.
