As are a majority of Championships They are 1 and done - very few repeats I guess every team that wins a singular championship without repeating is a 'Fluke' If you listened to the Philly fans around here in 2018, the Eagles were absolutely supposed to repeat or be a legitimate SB contender for years and years to come. The argument was "we were the most injured team in the league and we won the Super Bowl with a bunch of backups. Now think what we will do with our healthy starters." It was kind of a weird title. Think of the Sixers; you love that they're "in the conversation" year in year out despite winning nothing. Well, the Eagles won the Super Bowl and then... dropped out of the conversation for years. All they did after that was beat Mitch Trubisky's Bears thanks to the double-doink. It was (supposed to be) our "new norm", eh?

The Packers won the Super Bowl in 2010 but didn't in 2011 They must have been a 'Fluke'.... They Giants won the Super Bowl again 2011 but didn't in 2012 They must have been a 'Fluke'..... We've reached the point in the conversation where you know you're wrong but won't admit it. "This is a lost cause, I'll just make up some bullshit strawman argument instead." You haven't changed a bit.

That season was an outlier during Doug's time here. Their other two "winning" seasons weren't even good! 9-7 is barely a winning record. That run was magical. I'll never forget it and loved it, but I am not delusional.

Yeah! It’s unfair to compare Nick Foles to Hostetler and Dilfer. Neither one of those quarterbacks had to outduel Tom Brady’s best offensive performance in a Super Bowl to win it. And neither one of them almost got back to the conference championship game the next year. Good points, screamingtreefrogs
No, it's not unfair to compare backup QBs.... all who won the SB. There's a reason Foles was never able to keep a starting job.
Almost got back to the conference championship game the next year?! Wow, what an achievement!
Yes it is unfair. Nick Foles Super Bowl stats = 373 yards, 3 touchdowns Trent Dilfer Super Bowl stats = 153 yards, 1 touchdown Jeff Hostetler Super Bowl stats = 222 yards, 1 touchdown Hostetler and Dilfer’s stats aren’t even in the same league as Foles. They never would’ve won those Super Bowls if they had to play against 500 passing yards from Tom Brady. It’s silly to argue otherwise! And yeah, almost getting back to the NFC Championship game is an accomplishment. They were 2 games and 3 victories away from repeating as Super Bowl champions. Kinda makes your claim look silly.

The Warriors won the NBA Title last year after playing in the play-in the previous year They fell off the face of the Earth - they're the #8 Seed in the West right now They must have been a 'Fluke'

Yeah yah can’t. Just like you can’t expect that you can put any backup quarterback in a game and you’ll still have a chance to win a game. Not all backup quarterbacks are equal. Duhh!

Guarantee you if the 9ers upset the Eagles this week - He'll still call this years team 'Lucky' and perhaps a 'Fluke' Doesn't matter it's a team game and there's 2 teams on the field and the 9ers have a great defense We'll just be 'lucky' and a 'fluke'. Cause - ya know. Actually I don't but this cat doesn't either.

Know who else was a 'Fluke'? The 2020 Dodgers won the World Series but not in 2021.... They must have been a 'Fluke' The 2021 Braves won the World Series in 2021 but not in 2022 They must have been a 'Fluke' too.... But I digress - I'll be here all day Obviously a team that does not repeat - is a 'Fluke'

LOL And that backup quarterback argument you keep harping on… Foles was the starter the following season. And you know who else was a backup quarterback and only wound up playing in a Super Bowl because the starter got injured? Tom Brady.
