It looks like only specific threads are causing the error and it's not just happening to every user at random times.
EDIT: Although posting is tricky.

Yeah, but this thread (itself) conked out a moment ago - and your post ended up going into the thread twice. My reply conked out but the thread never failed to load for me. But that's what I've noticed so far. It's a 400 error code so it's possiblyy a scripting issue on their end.

He called it "the angry bear" because of the graphic and jokey format that Proboards uses to display an error.
