Some MSN commentator came up with these 10 quotes. None of them seem to me to sum up anything, just be part of a much larger whole. However, the last is the only one I really object to. #10 says: "Logic Clearly Dictates That The Needs Of The Many Outweigh The Needs Of The Few." - Spock, Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan (1982)It goes on to say that Starfleet is “an organization built on loyalty and sacrifice.” That is true, as far as it goes. But although the above is quoted twice in “Wrath Of Khan” (after “the few” Spock adds, “Or the one”), this is resolved at the very end of the next film, “The Search For Spock” when Spock asks why his Enterprise crew had risked their lives and careers for him. In the last line of the movie, Kirk says: “The needs of the few, outweigh the needs of the many.” Now THAT is the essence of Star Trek, that the friends and comrades will risk everything to save the individual. Here is the entire article: 10 Quotes

"I'm a doctor, not a bricklayer."
"The unfortunate accident he had as a child, he caught his head in a mechanical ... rice picker."
"Vulcans never bluff."
"He compared the Enterprise to a garbage scow!"
"Logic is a little tweeting bird chirping in a meadow. Logic is a wreath of pretty flowers which smell *bad*. Are you sure your circuits are registering correctly? Your ears are green."
