In other words what are some singers or bands that became popular in the first year that the world officially became a joke?
I will mention one singer, which would be Pitbull. I don't really remember what his first song was that became popular.

^^^ The first song from James named "The Ball" went to radio in 2002. His only big song named "Just Got Started Lovin' You" did not leave its #1 mark until 2008. God bless you and James always!!! Holly P.S. I could be wrong, but it sounds like this chat was supposed to be about people who eventually only went on to make a spectacle of themselves and not in a good way. James never fell into such a category, and I don't believe that he ever will. If anything, he later on scored himself some ACM and CMA award show bling in 2009 for his being a co-writer of the song named "In Color".
