lori petty sandra bullock bernadette peters michelle williams rhonda rousey laurie metcalf plays kathy bates role in the misery broadway play michelle pheifer was originally on my list but someone else mentioned her already Sandra Bullock is definitely an interesting choice. It would definitely be very very interesting to actually see her play that type of a character in a movie, I don't think she ever has before in any of her previous roles in her career. Yeah she has that shrillness down as well.

I wonder if she or even Michelle Pfeiffer for that matter would ever be interested in doing that kind of a Slasher Movie.

You've got some MVILFs there (Mrs. Voorhees's I'd Like To F***). Then again, apparently Betsy Palmer was a looker back in the day, too.
Kind of a tough call since Mrs. Voorhees is supposed to be cast against type, so all the people that come to mind for psycho mothers (ie Lena Headey) are out.

I think that Lena Headey would also be a Good Choice.

I dislike the idea of an attractive Mrs. Voorhees. It's just not scary.
As Hi224 said, I shouldn't want to bang Mrs. Voorhees.
I do dig the Geena Davis mention though.

LOL, Yeah.....That is definitely a Good Point. Do you have any choices for what actress you'd like to see play her then ? if she were 10 years younger Grace Zabriskie, however as of now, Rebecca De Mornay, Michelle Phieffer, Jodie Foster, Mary Mcdonnell, Laura Linney etc. I think McDonnell is a good choice. Laura Linney is interesting too.
Michelle Pfieffer is still hot though. When she plays villains she is even hotter.

The only movies that I know of where she played a villain were "BATMAN RETURNS" and "STARDUST". Are there any others ?

I've only seen bits and pieces of "WHAT LIES BENEATH" but I had heard that the villain in that movie was Harrison Ford.

I haven't seen the movie since 2001 but I remember her acting villainous.

I don't know why but for some reason, I feel like 'Mrs. Voorhees' doesn't get enough credit when it comes to Slasher Movies. She was such a Fantastic Killer in the first movie and Betsy Palmer (to me at least) definitely gave a very good performance playing her.

Whats challenging is what very actress would do a b movie horror. How about Winona Ryder ? I think that she would actually be willing to do a Slasher Movie.
