Dale Kersetter. 1987. He was a Security Guard at a Glass plant. He was on video at work. A Robber led him around and he packed up the Loot for him. A large amount of Metal worth $25,000 He has never been seen again. Some believe he was in on it. Others aren't so sure and think he was forced to do it. At one point Dale looks straight into the Camera after transporting the Loot. A Smoker Dale's Car was found at the Plant Parking Lot with his Lunch, a carton of Cigarettes, and the Keys still in the Ignition...

I guess we can add that monkey theft at the Dallas zoo. That guy is a Jerk. And may have killed an endangered Vulture too. I hope he goes away for awhile...

A Smoker Dale's Car was found at the Plant Parking Lot with his Lunch, a carton of Cigarettes, and the Keys still in the Ignition... My ex father-in-law worked at Corning Glass in Bradford, PA and knew Dale Kerstetter. And he said Dale wouldn't have had the balls to steal $250,000 (not $25,000) worth of platinum. Not in 100,000 years. There's a lot of woods around Bradford and he's in a hole somewhere. They said he was in debt but that part of Pennsylvania is impoverished and nearly everyone is in debt. My first wife was good friends with his daughter Penny and she is sure he wouldn't have abandoned his daughters. My ex father in law always figured it was someone who knew the plant and knew Kerstetter. Four other Corning facilities had platinum robberies. He came in and didn't threaten Kerstetter as much as threaten his daughters, maybe telling him "I have a friend at your house. If you don't help he will put one in your kids heads.". Kerstetter helped get the platinum and then the thieves got rid of the only witness.

Does this look like a criminal mastermind who could lift $250,000 of a precious metal and get off scot free?
I didn't think many people had heard about this. I wouldn't have if I didn't have a connection with the town.

Considering he left all his stuff including his Car tells me he was most likely murdered... What Smoker leaves a Carton? Or abandons his Car at work?? I feel like if he were still alive he'd have been spotted by now.

I feel like if he were still alive he'd have been spotted by now. Some people said he left the cigarettes as a red herring. After all, a quarter of a million will buy a lot of smokes. I think undoubtedly he was killed and buried and it was done by someone who knows how to keep a body from popping up. Right near Bradford in the Allegheny National Forest, hundreds of thousands of acres of forest. And the Allegheny Reservoir, a large deep man made lake. Lotsa places to hide a body forever.
Bradford is in the general area of another famous disappearance w/o a trace
