Are people born gay or is it a consequence of childhood psychological trauma and/or other factors?
Good short(ish) video that goes over the subject.

"born gay or is it a consequence of childhood psychological trauma and/or other factors?"
Then you would (at least) agree that one's sexual orientation (straight or gay) doesn't come about as a result of the person's conscious choice, which contrasts with the commission of a sin, which IS a conscious choice?

Are people born gay or is it a consequence of childhood psychological trauma and/or other factors? Good short(ish) video that goes over the subject. Not viewing because I don't see homosexuals as being broken. According to behavioral analysis, there are four things that determine behavior: genetics, brain chemistry, psychology and environment. Inferring (outright saying) that certain people are broken isn't really helpful.

Not really. What he's doing is a classic case of misconflating correlation with causation. Yes, a lot of young homosexual children get abused by their parents because their parents are homophobic bigots . That's correlation, not causation. For him to actually PROVE his argument (child abuse can lead to homosexuality), he would have to present peer reviewed pshycology studies that account for variables and shows direct causation (there is none). The person that made this video is either too stupid to understand how studies actually work or incredibly dishonest and doesn't really careful about making any actual truthful claims and just wants to spread an agenda (probably both honestly)

When did you decide to be attracted to the opposite sex? Were you born to sexually prefer only one race?

Inferring (outright saying) that certain people are broken isn't really helpful. As if all heterosexual people are happy. Probably less than the 10% of the population has a truly contented and monogamous marriage, where the husband and wife love each other as co-equal human beings and not as a piece of ass, a mommy replacement, or a meal ticket. If what the Christian Right preaches makes for happy, straight men, then where are they?

I think finding out how many of these men became homosexual because of it is worth the OP’s time. There are several documentaries with victim testimony talking about how the sex abuse affected their current sex life.

Queers aren't broken, just people with a fetish for the same sex.

Queers aren't broken, just people with a fetish for the same sex. That’s not a “fetish”. A fetish is an abnormal sexual arousal triggered by inanimate objects (like women’s shoes).

Queers aren't broken, just people with a fetish for the same sex. That’s not a “fetish”. A fetish is an abnormal sexual arousal triggered by inanimate objects (like women’s shoes). A Brief History of Fetish When fetish first appeared in English in the early 17th century, it referred to objects (often amulets) believed by certain West Africans to have supernatural powers. During the 19th century, the word took on a broader meaning: "an object of irrational devotion or reverence." The object need not be physical: a person may have a fetish for an idea, such as an unwarranted belief that a particular economic system will solve society’s ills. By the early 20th century, fetish took on yet another meaning quite distinct from its antecedents: a sexualized desire for an object (such as a shoe) or for a body part that is not directly related to the reproductive act (such as an earlobe). www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/fetish

The OP is inherently hateful in thinly disguised intent towards LGBT+ people... And you liked it. If you want to be an evangelical fundo, then be one... Don't pretend to be Catholic...

This isn't rocket science to figure out and no one should have to explain something so basic to you.

Probably because the OP is trying to present this video like it's legitimate scientific information rather than what it really is (flimsy religious propaganda full of misleading info). Basically it's just his way of lying.
